SV Institute was founded in 2012 in Chennai with a single, powerful conviction — that quality coaching should not be a privilege. Our founder, a former bank officer with a passion for education, started with a small classroom of 20 students and a commitment to see every one of them succeed.
Over the next decade, word spread. Students who cleared banking exams sent their siblings. Those who got government jobs recommended their friends. Batch by batch, year by year, SV Institute grew — not through advertising, but through results.

12 Years of Milestones
The Beginning
SV Institute opens its doors in a small rented classroom in Mylapore, Chennai, with one faculty member and 20 Banking aspirants. First batch: 18 out of 20 clear the prelims.
SSC & TNPSC Added
Student demand drives expansion into SSC and TNPSC coaching. A second faculty member joins. Enrolment crosses 200 students in a single academic year.
New Campus & 1,000 Students
SV Institute moves to a dedicated 3,000 sq ft campus with multiple classrooms, a library, and a computer lab. Cumulative enrolment crosses 1,000 students.
Spoken English & Computer Skills
Two new programmes launch — Spoken English and Computer Skills — broadening our impact beyond government exam prep and into employability skills.
Online Platform Launch
SV Institute launches its online learning platform, enabling students from across Tamil Nadu to access live and recorded sessions. Enrolment grows 60% despite the pandemic.
